Field of Women
Field of Women is visual spectacular seeking to raise awareness about the extent of breast cancer in Australia. Over 12 500 pink and white paper silhouettes of women will be planted in Sydney marking the 10 000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year, with the white silhouettes representing the women lost to the cancer.
In its fifth year, this year's Field of Women will be launched on Sunday 27 October.
Mini-Fields of Women will be planted in other states across metropolitan and rural Australia.
