Dr Peter Goodwin
Radiologist and Managing Director
Breast Imaging's Managing Director Dr Peter Goodwin joined the practice's founder, Dr Julian Frayne in 1987. Dr Goodwin has 23 years of radiology experience practising in both private practice and public hospitals. Special areas of radiology interest are all aspects of breast imaging and paediatric radiology.
Dr Goodwin's experience in the field of breast imaging has extended to a number of post graduate training courses including a specialised course in Mammography with well known specialists Dr Laszlo Tabar and Dr Wendy Logan, as well as a visiting fellowship in CT scanning at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston (Harvard Medical School).
He is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Royal College of Radiologists (F.R.A.N.Z.C.R).
Dr Goodwin is also a consultant radiologist at Rockingham Kwinana District Hospital; and a visiting and consultant radiologist at Esperance District Hospital, Broome District Hospital, Kununurra District Hospital, Derby Regional Hospital and Carnarvon District Hospital.
Dr Julian Frayne
Radiologist
Dr Julian Frayne is the founder of the Breast Imaging clinic. He has 25 years of radiology experience practising in general radiology, and abdominal, pelvic and breast ultrasound in both private practice and public hospitals.
His postgraduate qualifications include the diploma of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists, and he has attended a detailed ultrasound course at the Ultrasound Institute in Sydney. Additionally, Dr Frayne regularly attends professional development courses in general radiology and breast ultrasound.
Dr Frayne's other positions include consultant radiologist, Rockingham Kwinana District Hospital, visiting consultant Radiologist Esperance District Hospital, Broome District Hospital, Kununurra District Hospital and Derby Regional Hospital and Carnarvon District Hospital.
On the subject of breast imaging, Dr Frayne is a sought after speaker and has published various works. He is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Royal College of Radiologists (F.R.A.N.Z.C.R).

A dedicated administration team headed by Kate Ferguson, practice and administration manager, supports Breast Imaging's medical team. The team includes Katie Waterman, Kaye Turner, Kate Northway, Ginette Neale and Lynn Coates.
