Newsreader: A leading Perth radiologist is calling on women to make a New Year's resolution to take more notice of their breasts. Dr Peter Goodwin from the Breast imaging clinic says early detection is vital in the battle against breast cancer.
Dr Peter Goodwin: Only about a third of women actually do regularly self-examine their breasts and we've noticed recently at Breast Imaging we've had quite a few cases where women have come through with really quite big tumours and they said they haven't found them themselves, they only found them when they went to the doctor with something else and he did a breast examination.
