...Breasts. All women have them but only a few are looking after them. Worrying figures have been released to coincide with today, International Women's Day.
Dr Peter Goodwin from Breast Imaging says a survey of WA women reveals only seventeen percent are carrying out monthly breast self examination.

It is of concern, particularly when you consider that the screening service which does the regular screening mammogram studies, that only happens every two years. Now that's a long gap between those mammogram studies for a patient to go without some other check to look for breast cancer in their breasts.
