Breast Imaging is Western Australia's only specialised diagnostic breast clinic dealing purely with the breast - performing diagnostic mammography, dedicated breast ultrasound and image guided breast biopsy.
We promote breast awareness with the aim of detecting breast cancer early, when the disease is at its most treatable. This means encouraging women to do monthly breast self-examinations, visit their GP regularly for a clinical breast exam and, for women over 40, have a mammogram every year.
Breast Imaging is recognised as a centre of excellence and is accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology Mammography Quality Assurance Programme.
Two resident specialist radiologists, Drs Julian Frayne and Peter Goodwin head up a team of experienced all-female radiographers.
We have two practices - one in Cottesloe and a satellite practice in Rockingham.
